The Madrid–Barcelona Workshop on Public Economics is an initiative that has been running since 2023 to foster research in Public Economics in Spain. The annual event brings together international scholars and local researchers in an environment designed to discuss research and exchange ideas. The workshop was hosted in its first three editions at CUNEF University in Madrid.

The fourth edition, in 2026, will be hosted at the University of Barcelona, and is kindly supported by the IPERC Research Group.
